The Ministry of Health is pleased to announce the hosting of the ‘Quality-Care, Sustained-Health’, an International Scientific Conference on Health System 2050, in the Sultanate of Oman, as a part of our endeavour in constantly working towards reaching the prime objective of developing  better and high quality health care system in the Sultanate of Oman. The main purpose of this conference is to evaluate the health services in the Sultanate, review the achievements of the past years, address the current challenges and obstacles encountered and seek solutions in tackling them, with a view to providing high quality health care to the citizens of the Sultanate of Oman.

This conference will undoubtedly reflect the continued commitment of this Ministry in its efforts to reach a better standard of heath care. With well prepared scientific papers to be presented at the conference together with valued interaction and contribution of the participants, we are certain that this conference will lead successfully to the setting up of a new National Health Policy in the Sultanate of Oman, up to the year 2050.
