The Royal Hospital (RH) received recently group of medical device and dietary supplement as an initiative from the Towell Group for Social Security and Limited -Income people. The celebration of this initiative was held in the main reception hall of RH’s Training and Studies Department with the attendance of Dr. Qasim Ahmed Al Salmi, the hospital’s director general, and Murtadha Ahmed Sultan, a member of the Towell Group Partnership Board, along with the hospital’s medical and administrative personnel.
The initiative, which is launched by the Towell Group, aimed at providing medical device and dietary supplement to a number of beneficiary Social Security and Limited-Income patients and strengthening the concept of cooperation between the public and private sectors in the Sultanate particularly in the field of health care.
The initiative, with an overall cost of more than 45 thousands Omani Rials, includes the provision of several Substitutionary medical device which consist of (15) 2-pressure breathing apparatus, (4) Resuscitators, (4) portable Oxygen apparatus, (2) 10-ltrs Oxygen apparatus, in addition to dietary supplement.
