The Ministry of Health is preparing during the up-coming days to shift the neurology department from the Royal Hospital into the Khawla Hospital. The shifting will start on Saturday 5/3/2016 for the admitted patients, and on Sunday 6/3/2016 for the outpatient clinics.
The Ministry represented by these two hospitals has completed the shifting process, in which it will allow the patients to receive all these services under one roof with high level of place, equipment, as well as medical and nursing teams. The new prepared location will help to expand these services especially for the patients with strokes who are undergoing for external intervention through catheter as part of neuroscience department that has three sections; neurosurgery, neurology diseases and support services.
It is worth mentioning that the shifting process comes within the development plan adopted by the Ministry for the neurology services at the central level.
