Four agreements worth of 4,888,857 to construct health centers were signed at the Ministry of Health (MOH) yesterday by H.E. Dr. Ahmed bin Mohammed al-Saidi, Minister of Health and in the presence of H.E. Dr. Darweesh bin Saif al-Muharbi, MOH Undersecretary for Administrative and Financial Affairs and H.E. Dr. Mohammed bin Saif al-Hosni, MOH Undersecretary for Health Affairs.
The new health centers are Al-Moabilah Health Center in the Wilayat of A’Seeb, Sor Al-Bulush Health Center in the Wilayat of Shinas, Al-Buraimi Health Center and Al-Mahaj Health Center in the Wilayat of Al-Amerat.
Signing this agreements is a continuation of efforts of the Ministry of Health to support the primary health care, as well as expanding the health services delivered to the citizens in all over the country.
On this occasion, the Minister stated in a statement that signing this agreements today is a part of the health system and the first projects that will be implemented this year.
It is worth to mention that, these facilities will serve more than 10000 people. It consists of reception halls, pharmacies, treatment rooms, physiotherapy department, dental clinics, radiology department, x-ray and ultrasound rooms, and laboratories along with other facilities.
