As the Sultanate is celebrating the International Nurses Day, the Royal Hospital (RH) represented by the department of Nursing and Midwifery organized today Thursday at the City Seasons hotel the Nursing Conference under the theme “ Nurses: A Force for Change: Improving health systems' resilience. The conference was held under the patronage of H.E. Dr. Sultan Ya’rub Al Busaidi, MOH’s Advisor for Health Affairs with the presence of number of health officials.
The conference witnessed the participation of around 200 nurses from the Sultanate’s different Governorates. It marked the role of health informatics in improving the quality of Health care. The conference further identified the international changes that occurred in Nursing informatics specialty, and reviewed the achievements of Nursing in different specialties by assessing patients satisfaction.
The scientific program of the conference included many papers that explored the approach used in enhancing the modified and pediatric early warning signs. It also presented patients experience survey to assess their satisfaction regarding the delivered therapeutic services upon admission. In addition, the conference highlighted (Richman Tool) used in exchanging the electronic information.
