Health Minister Visits Health Institutions in Al-Batinah South
1/1/1970H.E. Dr. Ahmed bin Mohammed al-Saidi, Minister of Health visited today Tuesday the health institutions in Al-Batinah South Governorate.
The visit aimed at reviewing the workflow in the health institutions according to the three levels of care (the primary, secondary and tertiary), searching for the needs, as well as listening to the health workers and medical and administrative staff on developing the health works and infrastructure.
It included Al-Rustaq Hospital where the Minister was briefed on the workflow in various medical departments. He also reviewed the new extensions in the Hospital; the observation room at the Emergency & Accidents Unit, as well as the new Dialysis Unit which will contain 17 beds.
The visit also included number of primary healthcare institutions in the Wilayats of Nakhal and Wadi Al-Ma’wl. The Minister met with the administrative and medical staff and listened to their proposals and views on improving the quality of health services. He urged all workers to do their best to provide the health services.
During the visit, al-Saidi met with number of clients and citizens and listened to their suggestions on the health services provided to them.
The Minister was accompanied by the Director General of Health Services in South Al-Batinah along with number of officials.
