Planning & Studies Held Training Workshop on Monitoring, Follow-up and Evaluation System

The Directorate General of Planning & Studies, represented by the Monitoring & Evaluation Department in the Ministry of Health (MOH) organized today (Monday) a training workshop on monitoring, follow-up and evaluation system that adopted to be a platform to translate the Ninth Five-Year Health Development Plan and implementing in all its approved details.
The workshop was patronized by H.E. Dr. Ali bin Taleb al-Hinai, MOH Under-secretary for Planning Affairs in the presence of Dr. Ahmed al-Qasmi, Director General of Planning & Studies along with number of MOH Directors General.
In his opening speech, Dr. al-Qasmi stated that this workshop includes many topics concerned with practical training, which coincided with issuing the indicative monitoring, follow-up and evaluation manual, and this manual is a reference for workers in all MOH health institutions. He also added that it aimed at train the health workers in all job levels on monitoring and evaluation system which enable them to follow-up and evaluate the Ninth Five-Year Health Development Plan, as well as monitor its various stages.
The speakers of the workshop were from the Directorate General of Planning & Studies, where the targeted categories in this workshop are all the Directors and head of sections in the MOH Directorates General who had a significant role in preparation of the Ninth Five-Year Plan.
