The Oman medical Specialty Board (OMSB)’s  Prometric Testing Center achieved the first place in the comprehensive assessment  among the global network (Prometric) of 8,000 test sites distributed in more than 164 countries.

 The Assessment report includes all aspects related to Center’s Administration including communication process between the administration and the headquarters, the center’s security, and maintaining the integrity of the delivered exams. Moreover, it assesses the provided environment to the examiners’ and measures the consumers’ satisfaction to the services. It assesses the work of exam administrators who monitor the process of the exam and supervises re-licensing the center’s observers and administration.

In addition, the assessment report includes the scheduling test management and test management at crises occurrence, as well as solving the center’s technical errors. The report further indicates the extent of the center’s responds to the operation room in a standard timing.

With the aim of maintaining the quality and security of services, the Prometric Organization make agreement with a neutral-third-party to objectively evaluate the center’s quality by using the “mystery shopper” who plays the role of test taker, without the employees’ knowledge, in order to assess the center’s compliance with the operational and security policies and procedures.

The OMSB Professional Classification exams are available in most of the Prometric branches in more than 165  worldwide to facilitate the evaluation process for candidates from outside the Sultanate who are posting for medical and other health posts with the need to travel.
