Within the activities of the GCC Cancer Awareness Week, the National Oncology Center (NOC) of the Royal Hospital (RH) organized recently a cancer awareness event with the participation of the well-known members of the national football team at the Grand Mall, Muscat.

The event aimed at raising the community awareness on the cancer diseases regarding their causes, symptoms, and prevention methods, as well as highlighting the significance of physical activity and healthy diet in the prevention of cancer.

The event included different activities with educational and awareness corners displaying booklets and brochures on the different cancers and methods of prevention.
