H.E. Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Al Saidi, Minister of Health recieved today Thursday in his office  the Korean medical delegation that consisted of  representatives from the Korean Ministry of Health & Welfare, the Korea Health Industry Development Institute (KHIDI) in addition to some hospitals. Number of the Ministry high-ranking officials attended the meeting.

The meeting discussed ways of promoting cooperation in the field of health between the two countries. Moreover, the Korean experience in the field of healthcare industry was presented besides the treatment of several diseases and the latest technology used in hospitals.

The Korean delegation has arrived earlier to the Sultanate in an official two-day visit to strengthen bilateral cooperation in areas such as Health, Economy, Investment, and Trade as agreed upon in the Meeting of the 5th Korean-Oman joint Committee for Economic Cooperation, held on 1st  November 2016 in Seoul, Republic of Korea.
