The Ministry of Health (MOH) represented by the Oman Health Information Management Institute (OHIMI) launched today (Tuesday) Virtual Environment Laboratory and the computer Hardware Laboratory. The launching ceremony was held under the auspices of H.E Dr. Ali Talib Al Hanai, MOH’s Undersecretary for Planning Affairs at the OHIMI.

Upon the launching, H.E Dr. Al Hanai was briefed on the laboratories facilities. Later, the Planning Affairs Undersecretary examined the training Health Information Management program.

It should be noted that the opening of the two laboratories came as a result of the cooperation between the MOH’s Directorate General of Information Technology and the OHIMI. These facilities offer an appropriate training and educational environment for students that generate a reality simulation of a work environment allowing therefore for practical practices.
