MOH Signs Three Agreements

The Ministry of Health (MOH) today (Thursday) signed three financing agreements to purchase medical equipment for number of health institutions of more than 159000 OMR funded by Oman Liquefied Natural Gas (Oman LNG).

H.E. Dr. Darweesh bin Saif al-Maharbi, MOH Undersecretary for Administrative and Financial Affairs was signed the agreements on behalf of the Ministry and Khalid Abdullah Mohammed al-Musan,  CEO of Oman LNG was singed on behalf of the Company.

The first agreement stipulated on purchasing medical devices for the Dialysis Center in Bousher for an amount of 136000 OMR.

The second agreement stipulated on purchasing electrocardiography device (ECG) and ultrasound device for Dima Wa Al-Tayeen Health Center in South Al-Sharqiyah for an amount 14426 OMR.

The third agreement stipulated on purchasing (70) collapsible chairs for the patients accompanists in hospitals of Haima, Duqum and Al-Jazer in AL-Wusta Governorate for an amount of 9100 OMR.

Dr. Darweesh al-Maharbi stressed on the importance of the partnership between the government and private sectors for the public interest. He also praised the kind initiative of Oman LNG in providing this equipment for a number of health institutions in the Sultanate.  

From the other side, Khalid al-Musan asserted the keenness of the company to activate the partnership and cooperation between the company and the government institutions to serve the country in all development aspects including health services.

Singing these agreements came from the strategic partnership to achieve the public interest adopted by Oman LNG to promote community services and development projects.
