The Directorate General of Medical Supplies (DGMS) at the Ministry of Health (MOH) has being awarded the International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP) membership as an observer.

The certificate was announced during the 77th FIP World Congress of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences 2017, which was held in Seoul, Republic of Korea.

The DGMS was given the membership due to its annual contribution in organizing international conferences through the past seven years in which experts and scientists from global pharmaceutical organizations and associations took part, in addition to the DGMS participations in the FIP congresses.

notably, the FIP is a non-governmental organization founded in 1912 with its head office in the Netherlands. It is representing three million pharmacists and pharmaceutical scientists worldwide with the aim of supporting the development of the pharmacy profession through practice and emerging scientific innovations, in order to meet the world’s health care needs and expectations.
