MOH Signs Agreement for a New Dialysis Unit5/3/2018
The Ministry of Health (MOH) today signed an agreement with Raysut Cement Company (RCC) at the Ministry’s Headquarters to build a new dialysis unit in Taqah Hospital.
H.E. Dr. Darweesh bin Saif al-Maharbi, MOH Undersecretary for Administrative and Financial Affairs signed the agreement on behalf of the Ministry and Ahmed bin Yousuf bin Alawi Al Ibrahim, RCC Chairman signed on behalf of the Company.
The agreement stipulated on funding the establishment of a new dialysis unit in Taqah Hospital with a total cost of R.O. 300,000, as part of the Company's strategic vision in partnership with different government authorities in various fields.
Dr. Darweesh stressed in his statement on the importance of the partnership between the government and private sectors in serving the public interest. He also praised the initiative provided by the Company, as well as thanked the Company for its continued contributions in the field of health services.
On the other hand, the RCC Chairman said that enlightened by the Sultan's keenness and guidance for the private sectors in contributing effectively in the community responsibility programs, the Company has a vision and a strategy in this regard. He added that the Company has funded before to establish a dialysis unit in the Sultan Qaboos Hospital in Salalah, as well as medical equipment amounted to R.O. 225,000.
In addition, Sheikh Ahmed also pointed out that the Company has made every effort to implement the community responsibility programs whether in services or developments fields.
