H.E. Dr. Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Saidi, Minister of Health met today (Wednesday) H.E. Geert Cappelaere, UNICEF Regional Director in the Middle East & North Africa currently visiting the Sultanate on the sidelines of the ceremony of the announcement the results of the National Nutrition Survey.

The two side exchanged the cordial conversations and addressed the common concerns, as well as the cooperation aspects in the field of health.

The Regional Director praised the role of the efforts made by the Sultanate in healthcare services, especially in the field of child health and the exerted efforts to improve the nutrition levels for mothers and children.

The meeting was attended by the UNICEF representative to the Sultanate and a number of MOH senior officials.
