The Ministry of Health (MOH), represented by the National Heart Center of the Royal Hospital (Scientific Research Committee), recently organized the 4th Annual Scientific Day 2022 in the lecture room in the Hospital.

The event was held under the patronage of H.E. Dr. Hilal bin Ali Al-Sabti, Minister of Health, with the presence of Dr. Sami Al-Farsi, Director General of Royal Hospital, along with Dr. Salim al-Maskri, Director of National Heart Center. 

The event aimed to highlight the research activity of the medical staff in the Center and to encourage the scientific research environment, which is a cornerstone to improve the Center's services.

The research activities were classified into two categories: primary clinical research and rare clinical cases. The research presentations were evaluated by the arbitration commission consisting of the Chairman of the Scientific & Scientific Research Ethics Committee in the Royal Hospital, an expert in medical statistics from the Oman Medical Specialty Board, as well as experts from the World Health Organizations and the Sultan Qaboos University Hospital.
