H.E. Dr. Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Saidi, Minister of Health received yesterday Sunday at his office H.E. Mitsugu Saito, ambassador of Japan to the Sultanate of Oman.

The two sides exchanged the cordial conversations and reviewed the cooperation aspects between the two countries in the field of health.

During the meeting, the Japanese ambassador handed over the Minister of Health a letter of thanks from H.E. Katsunobu Kato, Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare at Japan for the Sultanate's participation in the Third Patient Safety Global Ministerial Summit.

The ambassador also handed over the Minister a letter from the Ministers of Health in Japan, UK and German. The letter included a request to the support the international action on patient safety.
