Dr. Musalim bin Said Al-Araimi, Head of Genetic Consultants and Education in the National Genetic Center gained the Scientific Excellence Award in Genetic Research and Community Impact during the 7th International Genetic Disorders Conference 2018.

This award is granted every two-year by the Genetic Diseases Association in the United Arab of Emirates for the best scientific figures in the fields of genetic medicine regionally and internationally.

Dr. Al-Araimi has gained this award in the second season due to his scientific researches and publications published by regional and international medical journals, as well as his outstanding contributions in genetic medicine, molecular diagnostics and molecular genetics.
