National Integrated Vector Management Committee Meets

The National Integrated Vector Management Committee met on Tuesday at the Ministry of Health (MOH) headquarters.
H.E. Dr. Mohammed bin Saif Al-Hosni, MOH Undersecretary for Health Affairs and Chairman of the Committee chaired the meeting in the presence of Committee's members from the concerned authorities.
Dr. Al-Hosni welcomed the participants and stressing the important role of the Committee in the health risks such as the spread of the Aedes Aegypti mosquito in the Sultanate and transmission of diseases including the Dengue fever and other diseases, the ways to deal with this insect and the coordination process between the concerned authorities.
