In the latest updated data on MERS, the Ministry of Health announces that the number of recorded cases during this year has reached (10) cases that resulted in four deaths across various Governorates of the Sultanate.

As the number of MERS cases increases, the Ministry of Health will strengthen the precautionary and preventive measures at the level of the hospitals and health centers to promote the early detection of infections, as well as to reduce the spread infections within the healthcare institutions and the community.

The Ministry calls upon the citizens and residents to cooperate with the medical cadres and to adherence to the recommended measures and guidance.
