4th Global Ministerial Summit Concludes3/3/2019
The 4th Global Ministerial Summit on Patient Safety hosted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia concluded today (Sunday).
The two-day Summit gathered (25) ministers of health and 50 representatives from various countries around the world along with international patient safety experts, political decision-makers and other stakeholders involved in the global movement for patient safety.
The Sultanate participated in the Summit with an official delegation led by H.E. Dr. Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Saidi, Minister of Health.
The Ministerial summit touched upon a number of topics related to the patient safety including the universal health coverage, patient empowerment, the role of health workers, policy making, research and the impact of digital health on patient safety.
