Ministry of Health represented by Directorate General of Private Health Institutions, Evaluation and Quality Control Department and Patient Safety section, organize on October 29 a workshop on implementing the infection control policies in the private health institutions. The workshop held in Muscat Under the patronage of H.E. Dr. Mohammed bin Saif Al-Hosni, the Under-secretary for Health Affairs, Ministry of Health.

Dr. Al-Hosni has pointed out in his opening speech to the importance of the private health institutions role in infection control to protect the patients as well as the health workers.
