Within the field visits, in which the senior officials of the Ministry of Health (MOH) are concerned about to follow-up the work progress in the health institutions across the Sultanate, H.E. Dr. Sultan bin Yarub Al-Busaidi, MOH Advisor for Health Affairs visited today (Tuesday) a number of health institutions in Al-Wusta Governorate.
During his visit, the MOH Advisor briefed on the work progress in these institutions, the health indicators and the progress achieved in the health programs, as well as reviewed the most important needs and the possibility of expanding the health services due to the increased number of clients according to the health statistics. He also met the health workers and discussed with them the obstacles and difficulties they face in order to provide a high-quality health service.
On the other hand, Al-Busaidi met H.E. Sheikh Ma'adhad bin Mohammed Al-Yaqoubi, Governor of Al-Wusta who reviewed the most important achievements, challenges and issues related to the health services in the Governorate.
The MOH Advisor also met H.E. Sheikh Tahir bin Mabkhout Al-Jinabi, member of Al-Shura Council, Representative of the Wilayat of Al-Duqum along with a number of citizens and listened to their demands, observations and suggestions related to the health services.
