MOH’s Undersecretary for Administrative, Financial, and Planning Affairs affirmed the significance of the partnership among public sector and other sectors in the Sultanate for serving public interests, commending meanwhile the initiative of Sohar International Bank to finance such vital projects.

H.E. Dr. Al Ajmi added that the signing of the agreement arose from the strategic partnership to achieve community common good and promote the public welfare services and development projects across the Sultanate of Oman.

Commenting on this, Ahmed Musalmi, Chief Executive Officer of Sohar International Bank, said: “Health and well-being have always been a key pillar of Sohar International’s social responsibility initiatives, and we are keen to explore how we, as a socially responsible financial institution, can make a difference in our communities.  At Sohar International, we complement the government’s efforts in this direction by providing support through supplying equipment and tools to operate a specialized dental and physiotherapy center in Muscat region. Such support enables us to meaningfully contribute to the nation’s broad objectives of ensuring health and better living for all and also establish a closer bond with the overall society we operate in.”

The signing of the agreement aims at supplying and modernizing the specialized medical equipment needed for Hay Al Mina Health Center, and thus improving the provided health services for all.
