The Ministry of Health (MOH) convened on Wednesday the 3rdmeeting of the National Chronic Non-Communicable Diseases (NCD) Committee at the Ministry's headquarters.
The meeting approved the previous meeting's minutes, and reviewed the follow-up report and the estimated cost of the NCDs plan.
The meeting also discussed the required arrangements of hosting the WHO Global Meeting on NCDs, which will be convened during December 8 – 12, 2019.
It also addressed the risk of e-cigarettes and the need to not to be allowed to enter the sultanate, as well as approving the final report of NCD plan costs. The operational activities of the non-communicable diseases implementation plan was also approved during the meeting.
