In his capacity as the President of the Supreme Council of the Arab Board of Health Specializations (ABHS), H.E. Dr. Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Saidi, Minister of Health received in his office today (Wednesday) Professor Dr. Omar bin Awadh bin Salim Al-Rawas, ABHS Secretary-General.
Al-Rawas reviewed the development plans of the ABHS including E-transformation, continuing professional development program and the proposed organizational chart of the Board.
The meeting also discussed the preparations for the meeting of the ABHS Supreme Council and Executive Office to be held next February in the Sultanate.
Al-Saidi stressed the Ministry's keenness to support and improve the bilateral cooperation with the ABHS in a manner that serves medical education and health services in the Arab world.
It is worth mentioning that E. Dr. Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Saidi, Minister of Health has been elected as the President of the ABHS Supreme Council during the Supreme Council meeting, which took place last September at the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States headquarters in Egypt. Professor Dr. Omar bin Awadh bin Salim Al-Rawas has been elected as the ABHS Secretary-General last May.
