The National Committee for Narcotics & Psychotropic Substances held on Monday its second meeting this year at the Ministry of Health headquarter.

H.E. Dr. Mohammed Saif Al Hosani, MOH’s Undersecretary of Health Affairs presided over the meeting with the presence of their Excellencies Members Representatives of the concerned stakeholders.

The meeting approved the minutes of the previous meeting (26^th) and reviewed the progress of the decisions. It further discussed what has been implemented in the National Committee’s Executive Plan 2019.

The meeting reviewed and ratified the programs of the Executive Plan 2020.

Moreover, the meeting underlined the therapeutic projects and the National strategy for Narcotics & Psychotropic Substances reduction and its challenges.

The Committee discussed the operating mechanism of Halfway House in Al Batinah North as well  the conditions  related to the staff of Al Amerat halfway house affiliated to Al Masarah hospital.
