The Sultanate, represented by the Ministry of Health (MOH) participated today (Wednesday) in the emergency meeting of the GCC ministers of health that took place in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The meeting, which discussed the latest developments on Novel Coronavirus (COVID-2019), came as part of the joint action of the GCC ministries of health to consolidate efforts and attitudes in all fields that dealt with the health of the Gulf citizens.
In addition, the meeting touched upon the importance of joint action in sharing information and taking the joint laws and precautionary measures in order to ensure the safety of the Gulf community.
The Sultanate's delegation is headed by H.E. Dr. Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Saidi, Minister of Health and accompanied by the MOH Director-General of Diseases Surveillance & Control and Director-General of Primary Healthcare.
