The training program on Strategic Planning, organized by the Ministry of Health represented by the Professional Development and Career Guidance of the Directorate General of Medical Supplies, commenced today ( Wednesday ) at InterCity hotel.

Specialists in strategic planning management and quality management are facilitating the workshop that gathered number of DGMS personnel including pharmacists, assistant pharmacists, nurses, lab technicians, and administrators. 

The two-day program aims at introducing concepts and terms related to the results-based planning, in addition to training participants on developing expected results and products and enabling them to establish indicators for results measurement. Moreover, the program trains participants on designing the operational plans to achieve expected results.

This session is part of the professional development and guidance programs for health cadres at the Ministry of Health. It follows the Ministry’s orientation to qualify and train all workers in the health sector on modern models in professional development and the provision of comprehensive pharmaceutical services by organizing continuous courses to keep health workers up to date and develop their capabilities.
