Within the cooperation framework, a joint team from the National Oncology Center of the Ministry of Health and the Sultan Qaboos Comprehensive Cancer & Research Center (SQCCRC) visited the Gustave Roussy Hospital in France.

The visit aimed to initiate cooperation in cancer treatments and scientific research.   

The visit touched upon several topics such as clinical trials, quality improvement initiatives, cancer control plans, chemotherapy treatment, initiatives for early detective programs, cancer survivorship, and rehabilitation program.

It is worth mentioning that Gustave Roussy Hospital is one of Europe's leading hospitals in cancer research and treatment. The Hospital provides state-of-the-art and research-intensive cancer treatments in gene therapy, immunotherapy, and cell therapy.
