Due to the gas inhalation incident in the Sohar Industrial Area, the Ministry of Health (MOH), represented by the Center for Emergency Management and the Poisoning Control Center, immediately started dealing with, managing, and follow-up on the incident.

In light of this, the Sohar Hospital and the public and private health centers received (42) injured. Their conditions ranged from mild to moderate and critical.

In this regard, the Ministry of Health urges all those dealing with hazardous substances to follow the maximum safety and preventive procedures according to the standard the competent authorities follow.
