MOH Sign Agreement to Construct Dialysis Unit in Suhar

The Ministry of Health (MOH) signed today (Thursday) an agreement with the Jusoor Foundation to finance the construction of a dialysis unit in Suhar Polyclinics in the presence of H.E. Dr. Hilal bin Ali AL-Sabti, Minister of Health.
The agreement was signed by H.E. Dr. Fatima bint Muhammad Al-Ajmi, MOH Undersecretary for Administrative, Financial, and Planning Affairs, on behalf of the Ministry and Jaber bin Suleiman Al Busaidi, Executive Director of Jusoor on behalf of the Foundation.
The MOH Undersecretary for Administrative, Financial & Planning Affairs stressed the importance of the partnership between the government and other sectors in the Sultanate for the public interest, praising the good initiative provided by the Foundation to construct a dialysis unit in Suhar Polyclinics.
For his part, Jaber bin Suleiman Al-Busaidi affirmed the Foundation’s keenness to activate the partnership and cooperation with government institutions to serve aspects of development in the country, including the health aspect and health services provided to citizens.
He added that Suhar Polyclinic’s dialysis unit, which cost one million Omani riyals, is built in an area of 2,138 sq.m. with a capacity of up to 21 beds. The Foundation will work on equipping the unit with the necessary medical devices and equipment to raise the capacity of the governorate for dialysis service to serve patients daily and improve the scheduling of treatment appointments.
