On this occasion, Dr. Qamra Said Al-Sariri, Director General of the Quality Assurance Center, pointed out that this project aims to improve the quality of the provided health services, as the patient’s experience is a key indicator to evaluate performance and quality of health care institutions.

Al-Sariri added that the MOH vision, represented by the Quality Assurance Center, seeks to make the Sultanate of Oman a national reference with world-class quality of health services and patient safety.

The Director General of the Quality Assurance Center stressed that this project is one of the Ministry’s initiatives enabling the beneficiaries (patients and their families) to involve in the improvement process. It aims to evaluate the patients’ experience in the health care facilities by using the Beneficiary satisfaction measurement questionnaire in the Shifa app, as well as to identify the patient’s experience through observed data analysis.

On the sidelines of COMEX 2023, H.E.
