Oxy Oman Sponsors Al Masarra Hospital Virtual Clinic Program


The Ministry of Health (MOH), announced today (Wednesday) the sponsorship of Oxy Oman for the Virtual Clinic Program for Al-Masarra Hospital. Oxy Oman’s sponsorship will enable the hospital to purchase laptops and expand access to its long-distance virtual appointments and consultations, primarily assisting low-income patients who reside far from the hospital.

The sponsorship signing event was held at the Ministry of Health, under the auspices of H.E. Dr. Fatima Mohammed Al Ajmi, MOH Undersecretary for Administrative, Financial and Planning Affairs and Steven Lauver, President and General Manager of Oxy Oman.

The MOH Undersecretary for Administrative, Financial & Planning Affairs stressed the importance of the partnership between the government and other sectors in the Sultanate for the public interest, praising the good initiative provided by the Oxy Oman.

“Advancing healthcare and well-being is a core pillar of Oxy Oman’s social responsibility program, and we are proud to continue our work with the Ministry of Health in our support for the Masarra hospital's Virtual Clinic program. We are proud to expand the accessibility of vital healthcare services for our community, particularly for low-income groups from local communities, and hope that this sponsorship improves patients’ quality of life and provides more patients with the care they need,” said Lauver, Oxy Oman President and General Manager.

This sponsorship falls under Oxy Oman’s umbrella of strategic partnerships and continuous collaboration with key stakeholders and is part of Oxy Oman’s endeavor and long-term commitment to support programs that enhance economic growth and sustainable development and that yield positive impacts in the neighboring communities.
