The three-day 18th Congress of the Pan Arab Orthopedic Association hosted by the Sultanate during 27th – 29th November 2014 was opend under the patronage of H.E. Dr. Sultan bin Ya’rub al-Busaidi, Ministry of Health’s Advisor for Health Affairs.

The Conference is supported by the Ministry of Health and organized by the Pan Arab Orthopedic Association in cooperation with the Oman Orthopedic Society, GCC Orthopedic Associations, Greek Association of Orthopaedic Surgery and Traumatology, Iranian Orthopaedic Association and Turkish Society of Orthopaedics and Traumatology. Over 400 consultants, orthopedic surgeons, physiotherapists, rehabilitation specialists, nurses, technicians and health workers has participated in this Conference from the Sultanate, GCC countries and various countries in the world.

The Conference aimed at promoting skills of the participants; familiarize them on the latest of orthopedic issues, communicating with the orthopedic doctors from different countries in the World as well as benefit from their therapeutic experiences in various specializations of orthopedic.
