H.E. Dr. Ahmed bin Mohammed al-Saidi, Minister of Health visited today (Tuesday) the new National Heart Center at the Royal Hospital. The center is comprising three-floor, located in an area of approximately 21810 square meter and contains 139 beds.

During the visit, Dr. al-Saidi toured to the out-patients clinics, as well as the admission wards. He also met the medical and technical staff and urged them to make their best efforts in order to facilitate the required quality medical services.

It is worth mentioning that, heart patients were relocated from the Royal Hospital to the new Heart Center in easily and orderly manner during the past few days.

The Ministry of Health (MOH) has set-up this Center in order to reduce the appointment waiting lists, as the Center also equipped with the latest technologies in the field of heart diseases.
