Over 100 representatives were attended two-day meeting of Quality Management and Patient Safety departments in Governorates’ hospitals and Directorates General that commenced today (Tuesday) at City Seasons hotel. The meeting was held under the patronage of H.E. Dr. Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Saidi, Minister of Health. 

The two-day meeting discussing several aspects which are divided into 8 groups; Health services Internal Audit, Quality Management and Patient Safety Documentation, Risks Management, employees’ Satisfactory Assessment for patients, medical accidents recording system, system of acknowledgment, complaints, and suggestions, quality departments personnel’s training, and the career of Quality Management and Patient Safety departments personnel. 

Participation includes those specialized in the field of quality management and patient safety from different health institutions in the Governorates, and personnel of development and quality department at Sultan Qaboos University hospital in addition to some of relevant Directorates at the Ministry of Health (MOH).
