New MOH Batches Graduated
31/1/2018The Ministry of Health (MOH), represented by the Directorate General of Human Resources Development celebrated today Wednesday the graduation of a new batch of 242 students from the MOH Institutes in Muscat Governorate from various specializations at Al-Noor Ballroom.
The graduation ceremony held under the patronage of H.E. Dr. Sultan bin Yarub Al-Busaidi, MOH Advisor for Health Affairs with the presence of a number of MOH senior officials along with government and military sectors.
The new batches are from the Oman Specialized Nursing Institute which are (192) students including the specializations of Adult Critical Care Nursing Program (ACCNP), Critical Care Nursing in Pediatric & Neonatology Program (CCPNP), Emergency Nursing Program (ENP), Infection Prevention & Control Program (IPCP), Health Services Management Program (HSMP), and Midwifery Program (MP).
The ceremony also included graduates (7) students from the Institute of Health Sciences, (19) from the Oman Nursing Institute, (7) from the Oman Pharmacy Institute, (12) from the Oman Health Information Management Institute and (4) from the Salalah Nursing Institute.
On MOH speech, Dr. Ahmed Al-Abri, Dean of Institute of Health Sciences, pointed out that these institutes have medical cadres that have received great support from the Ministry. This cadre obtained higher qualifications such as bachelors, the higher diploma, masters and Ph.D. whether inside the Sultanate or abroad. This undoubtedly contributes improving the quality of healthcare.
After that, the graduates performed the oath, which confirms the importance of the professional ethics.
