Al-Dhahira Comes First in "Facts for Life" Book Competition
24/3/2019The results of the "Facts for Life" Book Competition for the academic year 2016/ 2017 announced today (Sunday) at the Oman College of Health Science.
The honouring ceremony, which organized by the Joint Central Committee of "Facts for Life" Book, held under the patronage of H.E. Dr. Darweesh bin Saif Al-Muharbi, Undersecretary of Ministry of Health (MOH) for Administrative & Financial Affairs in the presence of number of officials from the Ministry of Health and Ministry of Education.
The number of researches submitted this year is 10920 researches of the total number of students in the tenth grade of 43176 students.
The MOH Undersecretary honored the winners in the competition including the students, governorates, schools, principals, teachers, doctors and nurses.
Al-Dhahira Governorate got the first place at the level of the Governorates, followed North Al-Sharqiah Governorate in the second place then South Al-Batinah in the third place and North Al-Batinah in the fourth place.
As for the outstanding students participating in the competition at the level of the Sultanate, the results were as follows:
Hafsa Sulaiman Al-Farsiah from Asma bint Amis School for Basic Education in Al-Dahira Governorate ranked the first place for her research titled "The Relation between Chronic Diseases & Arterial Heart Disease".
The student Tasnim Al-fatih Ali Ashmawi from Al-Asma bint al-Harith School for Basic Education in North Al-Batinah Governorate got the second place for her research "Premarital Medical Check-up".
Abrar bint Hamad Al-Barwaniah from Sumia School for Basic Education in North Al-Sharqiah Governorate came in the third place for her research "Down Syndrome". Ashgan bint Shikhan Al-Ofiah from Fayid Al-Maarifa School for Basic Education in Muscat Governorate ranked the fourth place for her research titled "Malnutrition".

At the level of Muscat Governorate: Halima Abdullah Al-Hinai from Fayid Al-Maarifa School for Basic Education got the first place, Ayat Ashraf Al-Hajri from Fayid Al-Maarifa School for Basic Education got the second place, Ithar Mahmoud Al-Qasabi from Fayid Al-Maarifa School for Basic Education ranked the third place and Dima Rashid Al-Rashdi from Fayid Al-Maarifa School for Basic Education got the fourth place.

At the level of North Al-Sharqiyah Governorate: Asma Masoud Al-Toqi from Al-Aflaj School for Basic Education got the first place, followed Amar Yasir Al-Habsi from Al-Hawari bin Mohammed Al-Azdi School for Basic Education, and Isra Osama Mohammed from Sinaw School for Basic Education got the third place and Jihan Khalfan Al-Hidifi from Sinaw School for Basic Education ranked in the fourth place.

At the level of South Al-Sharqiyah Governorate: Shifa Nassir Al-Madiloi from Lubaba bint Al-Harith School for Basic Education got the first place, followed Wisal Awadh Al-Dawodi from Al-Janaan School for Basic Education, then Safa Ali Al-Sarhani from Al-Janaan School for Basic Education and Fatima Riyadh Al-Buloshi from Lubaba bint Al-Harith School for Basic Education ranked the fourth place.

At the level of South Al-Batinah Governorate: Al-Muntasir Khatir Al-Mazrooi from Al-Numan bin Al-Bashir School for Basic Education ranked the first place, followed Intisar Nassir Al-Mamari from Asma bint Yazid School for Basic Education, then Mariam Abdullah Al-Buloshi from Widam Al-Ghaf School for Basic Education and Raiyan Abdullah Al-Hajri from Widam Al-Ghaf School for Basic Education got the fourth place.

At the level of Al-Dhakhiliyah Governorate: Mohammed Hamdi Sadiq from Saleh bin Al-Mutawakil School for Basic Education got the first place, followed Shaima Suliman Al-Hinai from Sint School for Basic Education, then Marwa Mahfoud Al-Rashdi from Zainab bint Al-Rasool School for Basic Education and Rima bint Khamis Al-Maslahi from Aisha Al-Riamiah School for Basic Education got the fourth place.

At the level of Musandam Governorate: Mariam Alaa Izat from Jawharat Oman School for Basic Education got the first place, followed Noora Ibrahim Al-Shihi from Jawharat Oman School for Basic Education got the second place.

At the level of Dhofar Governorate: Asil Adham Al-Yafai from Khoula bint Hakim School for Basic Education got the first place, followed Reem Imad Al-Din Mohammed from Khoula bint Hakim School for Basic Education, then Ameena Bilah Mohammed Moosa from Khoula bint Hakim School for Basic Education and Yumna Abdullah Arafa from Al-Saadah Girls School for Basic Education got the fourth place, as well as Shaima Khalid Al-Najar from Khoula bint Hakim School for Basic Education got fourth bis.

At the level of North Al-Batinah Governorate: Jinan Saleh Al-Shibli from Um Salama School for Basic Education got the first place, followed Manar Ali Al-Musalmi from Um Salama School for Basic Education, then Amina Ali Al-Zadjali from Hanin School For Basic Education and Hamad Khalfan Al-Saidi from Al-Otbi School for Basic Education got the fourth place.

At the level of Al-Dhahira Governorate: Sundos Ibrahim Taha from Fatima bint Asad School for Basic Education got the first place, followed Rawan Ahmed Al-Ghafri from Fatima bint Asad School for Basic Education got the second place.

At the level of Al-Wusta Governorate: Majida Mohammed Al-Jahafi from Hima School for Basic Education got the first place and Yoza Hamid Al-Harsosi from Hima School for Basic Education got the second place.
