The Sultanate will take part in the 51st Ordinary Session of the Arab Health Ministers Council meeting hosted by the Arab Republic of Egypt with an official delegation chaired by H.E. Dr. Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Saidi, Minister of Health.

The Meeting, which will convene on Wednesday, will touch upon a number of health issues of Arab common concerns including showcasing the successful experiences of the Arab member states in the health field, the proposal of celebrating the Arab Health Day and Arab Physician Award.

The Meeting will also address the Arab Authority for Blood Transfusion Services, the unified speech of the Arab Health Ministers Council in Geneva next May, the recommendations of the Arab Forum on Reproductive Health, the Arab Council for Health Specialties, as well as the Arab Center for Authorship and Translation of Health Science.

The Meeting will also discuss issues related to the Arab Fund for Health Development, standardize health legislations in the Arab States along highlighting some of the projects such as establishing the Arab Center for Cooperation & Research on HIV/ AIDS and the Arab Center for Medical & Laboratory Research and others.
