17 New Health Centres to be Set Up9/9/2014
The Ministry of Health and Zawaya Engineering Consultancy on Tuesday, 9/9/2014, signed 17 agreements to provide consulting services to design and supervision works of 17 new health centers in different Governorates of the Sultanate.
H E Dr Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Obaid al Saeedi, Minister of Health, who signed the agreements on behalf of the ministry, said that these new centres will be set up as part of a plan to expand healthcare services to serve citizens in different wilayats of the Sultanate. He added that these agreements are part of the upgrade of health services and the rising population demands expansion of healthcare facilities. In addition to the current agreements, there are others to be considered in the near future.
The signing ceremony was attended by Undersecretaries for Planning Affairs and Financial and Administrative Affairs of MoH, advisor of health affairs, officials from the ministry and representatives of Zawaya Engineering Consultancy.
