It is worth mentioning that the Conference aims at describing the evolving pharmacy practice in the coming future and discussing the role and responsibilities of the medication safety employee or individual responsible for medication safety oversight. Moreover, it aims to understand the Core Pharmacy Performance Indicators as recommended by the Joint Commission International Accreditation (JCIA), and identify the key elements of a medication safety program and strategic plan.
