The Third Omani-International Stroke Conference kicked off on Sunday under the patronage of H.E. Dr. Ali bin Talib Al-Hinai, Undersecretary of Ministry of Health for Planning Affairs at Sundus Rotana Hotel.
The two-day Conference is organized by the Oman Stroke Society in cooperation with the Ministry of Health (MOH).
About (250) medical staff from various departments including the emergency, neurology, stroke units, rehabilitation, nursing, internal diseases and radiology attended the Conference.
The Conference highlighted the important and latest developments in diagnosis and treatment of stroke of all types, as well as discussed the stroke status locally and internationally.
The Conference is also an opportunity for all experts and people interested in strokes to exchange their experiences and enhance the relations through addressing the common ideas and topics related to patient care, education and researches.
A number of experts specialized in strokes from the Sultanate, GCC and other countries lectured during the Conference.
