RH Concludes Endoscopes Workshop

The Royal Hospital (RH) concluded recently at the conferences hall of the Hospital the third workshop on endoscopes.

The three-day workshop gathered 55 specialists in the field of endoscopes from various health institutions in the Sultanate.

The workshop aimed to shed the light on the latest medical developments on endoscopes, training the medical staff by using

the endoscopy equipment in a proper way, as well as exchange experiences between the specialists in this field.

The workshop discussed several topics including; historical development of endoscopy sciences, patients safety during and

after endoscopy operations, and uses of therapeutic endoscopes in colon, gastrectomy and urinary tract.
