Al Masarra Hospital

Al Masarra Hospital is the only tertiary hospital for Psychiatry in the Sultanate of Oman with a bed capacity of (245) beds. The Psychiatry services are classified into four sections viz. General Adult psychiatry, Geriatric Psychiatry, Child & Adolescence Psychiatry and Forensic Psychiatry. Besides that the hospital provides treatment for alcoholic and substance misuse addicts patients. The other services rendered at this state of the art hospital are Psychology, Social work, Physiotherapy, Occupational therapy and Speech therapy. Al Masarra hospital is a training center for various categories, such as resident doctors enrolled in Oman Medical Specialties Board (OMSB), Medical Students at Sultan Qaboos University (SQU), Nursing students from different colleges and institutions.
