Nizwa Hospital

His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said opened Nizwa Hospital on 02.09.1971 and it was rebuilt and reopened on Wednesday, the thirtieth of September 1998 to be a reference hospital to provide secondary health care for the population of the province of Al Dakhlya and its neighboring provinces (AL Dahera and ALWsta). Attached to the hospital department of medical records of patients administered a sophisticated electronic system known as "ALSHIFA 3+". The hospital has 305 beds, including inpatients, and intensive care units which include (Adult ICU, Pediatric ICU, Coronary care unit, Special care baby unit and burn unit) . It also contains the accident and emergency, delivery rooms, dialysis unit and maternity care
