Al-Dakhliya Governorate
The General Directorate of Health Services in the governorate of AL-Dakhalia is consider as one of the directorates of health services from eleven directorates of health services that deployed in the governorates of the Sultanate. It work on leadership and follow up the implementation of health services in health institutions through integrated network of health institutions that have high standard provided curative health services, preventive, rehabilitative and promotive which characterized by inclusiveness and accessibility for all groups of society. The system of health services is formed from health centers spreads over all the states of governorates and healthy polyclinic in the states of Bahla ,Nizwa , Izki, Sumail and local hospitals in the state of Adam and Izki and on behalf of the AL-Jabal Al-Akhader and hospitals in the states of Bahla , Sumail and reference hospital in Nizwa state. health centers, polyclinic and hospitals provided integrated packages of first health care programs while states hospitals and reference hospital offering secondary health care services to complete system by converts pathological conditions that require tertiary health care to Muscat Governorate Hospitals. There are initiatives and pilot projects in governorate that was the first of its kind in the Sultanate, which were Nizwa healthy life styles project, Student Counseling Center, job training Center and care for the elderly project. Nepdh Alafyah Magazine is highlighting the various scientific activities, events and initiatives undertaken by the various health institutions in the Dakhilya Governorate and their employees showing developments in the health programs as well. Magazine also raises the health awareness and promotes the health of the community and empower the relationship with governmental and private institutions in the Governorate representing a good example of community participation and intersectoral cooperation as pillars of health care. The magazine provides information in English and Arabic for comprehensive cover of all functions for medical and administrative staff of health institutions and it maintains and applys international standards in publishing as in scientific journals and periodicals.
The regulatory framework for the emergency plan for Health Services in Al Dakhilya Governorate
With continued exposure of the governorates in the Sultanate , including our Governorate, for some emergency cases and climate changes and the presence of facilities that may pose a potential risk to the community like industrial areas , the Directorate General of Health Services in Al Dakhilya Governorate prepared a general framework to address these crises and potential emergency situations through the emergency and crisis response committee in the health services and is working within the Sub-Committee of Civil Defense at the Governorate level and the medical response and public health center at the national level .
