Rostaq Health Center implemented an awareness initiative titled “Optimal Use of Paracetamol and Painkillers,” led by pharmacist Hanan Al-Anbouri. The initiative aimed to raise patients’ awareness of medications, promote the safe and appropriate use of painkillers, and reduce errors and complications resulting from misuse or exceeding the recommended doses.

The initiative included an overview of the types of painkillers available at private pharmacies and their appropriate uses, while emphasizing the importance of consulting a pharmacist or physician before using medications, particularly for individuals with chronic conditions or those taking other medications.

The initiative highlights the important role of pharmacists in medication education and promoting the rational and safe use of medicines, contributing to protecting the health of patients and the wider community.
