The Al Musannah Health Committee held its first meeting of 2026, chaired by His Excellency Sheikh Ahmed bin Ali bin Saud Al Habsi, Wali of Al Musannah and Chairman of the Health Committee, with the attendance of committee members from various service sectors and several officials from the Directorate General of Health Services in South Al Batinah.

The meeting discussed several topics, including a review of the recommendations from the previous meeting, a presentation of the health indicators in the wilayat, and discussions on the unified plan for combating the Aedes mosquito. The meeting also emphasized the importance of early detection of non-communicable diseases and its role in promoting public health and prevention.
