South Al Batinah Health Organizes Thyroid Disorders Workshop to Enhance Medical Staff Skills
The Directorate of Health Services and Programs, represented by the Integrated Programs and Healthcare Section, organized a workshop on thyroid disorders targeting general physicians and doctors working in non-communicable disease clinics across South Al Batinah Governorate, with the participation of a group of specialized physicians in this field.
The workshop aimed to enhance the knowledge and skills of medical professionals regarding the latest recommendations and therapeutic practices related to thyroid disorders, contributing to improving the quality of healthcare provided to patients and enhancing the outcomes of health services at healthcare institutions across the governorate.

The Royal Hospital, in collaboration with Khoula Hospital and the Oman Center for Organ and Tissue Donation and Transplantation, successfully performed a comprehensive organ donation procedure involving a patient declared brain-dead.
